The Slipstream has been a fixed PUMA staple since it was first seen on basketball courts in the 1980s. Initially released as a hightop performance shoe, the Slipstream quickly turned into a streetwear classic and continued as such throughout the 2000s. Now, while staying true to its basketball heritage through details such as the stitching, the Slipstream graphic, and the sole, the sneaker has been revived and updated to modern preferences. A cleaner, more minimal version of the ‘80s original, the new Slipstream is the perfect blank canvas, with just a touch of nostalgia, to be restyled for today.
